Individuals with ASSE Certifications must recertify their certifications every three years. We encourage individuals to recertify in advance of the expiration date. Individuals may recertify up to six months early without losing any time on their certification. Please note that a certification is not valid after the expiration date listed on the Certified Professionals list: https://forms.iapmo.org/asse/certified/

RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
**An individual successfully completing a 5110 recertification, 5130 certification or 5140 certification will update all ASSE cross-connection control certifications that they possess.
**An individual successfully completing a 5120 or 5150 certification or recertification will update only the 5120 or 5150 certifications.

Expired Certifications:
Recertification up to six (6) months after the expiration date is permitted but does not result in any gain of certification time. Failure to recertify by six (6) months after the expiration date will result in the individual having to retake the initial course and exam. Certified individuals failing to renew their certificates prior to the expiration date shall have their names removed from the certification list.
